Homestay and Private Home Accommodation
One of the best ways to learn more about the people of England is to choose homestay/private home accommodation.
A homestay is a home that can accept up to 4 guests. The hosts treat students as a full member of the household, eating together and sharing the common living areas. In homestays, you can expect to live with students of different nationalities (if you have not requested otherwise). Family life is informal and the people are welcoming, friendly and talkative, so you will have plenty of opportunities to practise your English.
Private home accommodation is accommodation in a private home for adult students (over 16 students) that can accept more than four students. There may be less direct contact with the host(s) as a consequence. Private home accommodation is not suitable for the under-16s. In private homes, you can expect to meet a number of other students of different nationalities.
CES is able to offer our students in Leeds a large selection of homestay/private home accommodation. Homestay/private home accommodation includes breakfast, packed lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Average travel time from homestays/private homes and to the school is 30-45 minutes by public transport.
