Host Family

Staying with a Host Family is ideal for the English language student as you will have the opportunity to speak English outside the classroom.

Practise English in the safety of a home with a host family

Living with a host family offers students an opportunity to practise English in a friendly and safe environment and an opportunity to learn about Maltese culture and society at first hand.

The ESE team includes experienced and professional staff members who are responsible for the selection of families best suited to host our students. When selecting our host families ESE looks at the cleanliness and comfort of their home and the warmth of their welcome.  Our screening process includes both interviews and inspections of the families’ home.

We look after our students and make every effort to ensure that their requirements such as dietary or else allergy restrictions are not a hindrance to them enjoying their language stay with ESE by placing them with families sympathetic to these conditions.
