Located in Canada, the International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC) provides services at campuses in Toronto and Vancouver.

Established in 1997, ILAC has been offering its students a wealth of educational opportunities since its establishment. Students from around 75 different countries study at ILAC centers. The school has numerous awards from many associations and institutions in the foreign education sector.

Among the programs offered by the school; There are Intensive English (30 lessons per week), Power English (38 lessons per week), university pathway preparation program, IELTS / TOEFL preparation, business English and Young Adult (32 lessons per week) programs that students aged 16-18 can attend.

Thanks to the University preparation program, which is another important branch of ILAC, students with sufficient English level can start to receive education directly in these institutions without the need for any language proficiency exam if they meet the admission requirements of the colleges or universities of which the school is a partner.

General English
General English General English programs aim to improve all students' English language skills. The duration of the program varies according to the students' wishes. From beginner to intermediate, students begin with General English education before progressing to a more advanced level. Classes are available from Beginner to Advanced. General English courses focus on the development of listening and speaking skills. Students take the Cambridge mock exam every two weeks to measure their progress so students and teachers can see the progress. Each English level is 4 weeks. Students take a placement test on their first day to determine their level, and students with level 9 and below are placed in General English classes. Generally, class sizes vary between 12-16. Students have the right to receive a special report and certificate at the end of the course. General English Programs are offered in two different ways according to the number of lessons. Intensive English Program (30 lessons/week) and Power English program (38 lessons/week).
Cambridge English Program
Cambridge English Program The Cambridge English Program is the most effective way to improve fluency in English and improve communication skills. This program prepares students for internationally recognized exams. Students develop all their English skills and learn to communicate fluently with native speakers. Students take the FCE, CAE and CPE exam every two weeks to measure their progress. Achievements are followed to determine when the student is ready to take the official Cambridge exam.
Toefl Preparation
Toefl Preparation TOEFL is one of the globally accepted exam systems for measuring and evaluating candidates' English knowledge. Thousands of educational institutions around the world accept students according to the official results published by these exams. Under the guidance of ILAC's expert teachers, this program helps students gain the skills, self-confidence and technical acquisitions required to take the TOEFL exam and get the desired score. Students take TOEFL mock exams every two weeks to measure their progress.
IELTS Preparation
IELTS Preparation IELTS is one of the globally accepted exam systems for measuring and evaluating candidates' English knowledge. Thousands of educational institutions around the world accept students according to the official results published by these exams. Under the guidance of ILAC's expert teachers, this program helps students gain the skills, self-confidence and technical acquisitions required to take the IELTS exam and get the desired score. Students take IELTS mock exams every two weeks to measure their progress.
Business English
Business English The Business English program focuses on improving the English fluency of professionals. Students learn career-oriented skills and ways to communicate effectively in the business environment. Course topics; negotiation, networking and meeting management. Effective business correspondence and presentation skills are also covered. Students are tested with the Business English Exam (BEC). In this way, students and teachers can follow their progress. This exam is internationally recognized and is accepted globally by the best international companies. Students with level 10 and above can take a direct business English course.
University Pathway Programs
University Pathway Programs ILAC's university transfer program provides a transition to undergraduate and graduate programs as well as language and graduate diploma and certificate programs. Graduates of the university transfer program are expected to score 90 or above in TOEFL and IBT. In this course, subjects such as written and verbal English skills, critical thinking, research skills, article writing, TOEFL preparation, time management, exam techniques, oral presentation are given. Students who complete this program are entitled to be admitted to more than 87 colleges and universities in Canada without being subjected to any entrance exam.
