Health Care Administration

A well-run and efficient office within a medical practice, dental clinic or other healthcare setting is critical to the success of the practice and to the quality of the healthcare service provided. The Health Care Administration program explores the roles and responsibilities of a Health Care Administration professional. Students will learn all aspects of health care service including the medical terminology, common administrative procedures, finance and billing, and how to deal with the challenges of providing quality customer service. The program not only teaches students the specialized skills required to be a part of a health care team, but also core competencies transferable across all industries.
