At Camber College all our teachers are highly educated, experienced and certified to teach English as a Second Language (ESL). We will prepare you for future study and life in Canada and around the world. Our courses cover reading, writing, listening and speaking at all levels, from beginner to advanced.

You will find the city to be a welcoming, friendly and safe environment with something for everyone including adventure sports, social activities, the arts, shopping and relaxation.

With our learning system, students have the opportunity to focus on and develop abilities and skills that are important to them. Students get individual assistance for no extra charge if they have difficulties or questions. Our teaching facilities include comfortable classrooms, audio/video technology and free high speed Wi-Fi.

Our Homestay Program provides the perfect opportunity for students to learn about Canadian culture and practice English as part of a local family in Powell River. Students will have three meals a day and a room of their own provided by the homestay hosts. Students are encouraged to join in the family life and activities.
Camber College Homestay Program families are carefully selected to meet your needs. Living with a homestay family is the best way to practice your English in a social setting. Our families will welcome you into the family, enhancing your experience.
